These sessions are for those near or far. My coaching consults are for those dog owners who aren't quite sure where to begin with dog training or for those who may be working with another professional trainer or following an online training program, but would like a second opinion.
During your session, we can assess your dog’s behavior, as well as the dog-parent relationship, and answer any specific behavior questions or concerns you may have. Evaluating both your dog’s behavior and the parent-dog relationship will give us the opportunity to learn what behaviors may be contributing due to genetic traits, lack of proper exposure, current home routines, and what behaviors have been learned and unintentionally reinforced.
Many behaviors that we deal with are due to a lack of understanding our dogs as canines and their needs. During your consultation, we may also cover the foundation of canine body language, an effective communication system, how to successfully fulfill your dog's biological needs and tie these components into your initial training plan.
Our dog behavior programs consist of practical and effective techniques that can help you begin creating a well-balanced companion and help you move forward with your dog training journey.
